Who makes it through and when are the box draws?

Only the winners of each TAB Melbourne Cup heat advance to next Friday’s final of the world’s greatest greyhound race – the box draw will be live on Thrill of the Chase this Sunday from 10am on 7TWO.

The winner and runner-up of each Bold Trease heat will make it through to next Friday’s final – the box draw will be after Race 9 tonight and live on the Sky Racing Active coverage.

What’s the best to way to watch the action?

There will be wall-to-wall coverage from Sandown Park via the Sky Racing Active app – Marc Ohlmus, Jason Lincoln and Jason Adams will be on-track delving into each heat and speaking to the big players.

The fields and TAB markets

The night kicks off at 6.59pm with the opening heat of the Bold Trease for the stayers, they make up the first four races before TAB Melbourne Cup heats fill the remainder of the card.

Melbourne Cup Community Sweep

64 community clubs and groups have each been allocated a greyhound in tonight’s heats – $13,000 will be up for grabs for those who make it to next week’s final. Click here for more information
