Speed Star – a history lesson (prior to June’s edition)
-First run in September 2015, this is the 10th edition of the Speed Star and 11th overall.
-There has been a total of 240 matches run at Sandown Park
-The record for the fastest match belongs to Dyna Patty – 28.999 – set in a consolation event in series 8. In doing so, she also became the first – and to date, only – bitch to break 29 seconds at Sandown park
