Group 1 racing returns to Sandown Park in May!

Headlined by the $250,000 RSN Sandown Cup – the world’s richest race for stayers – the May carnival also features two group 1 sprints.

The Sapphire Crown for female greyhounds and the Harrison-Dawson for the males – each carrying $100,000 to the winner – have quickly become two of the country’s premier group 1 events.

The carnival kicks off with the heats of the Harrison-Dawson and Sapphire Crown on Thursday May 13th followed by the finals on Thursday May 20th. The RSN Sandown Cup heats will also be run on Thursday May 20th with the final on Thursday 27th May.
