It’s an all-star cast as four of the fastest greyhounds in Australia face off in the $50,000 Shootout at Sandown Park this Saturday night.
Big Energy (Box 1)
The odds are stacked in favor of Big Energy, who has been so close in recent Group Races. His high speed should make him a frontrunner in this format.
Alpha Zulu (Box 3)
Alpha Zulu has been on fire lately, cleaning up in the Group Races. His Group Two Cranbourne Cup win here two starts ago was a masterclass in speed and agility.
Hector Fawley (Box 5)
Hector Fawley is a weapon over the middle distance and excelled in the match racing earlier in the year here. The four-dog format should get him in the action early.
Transponder (Box 7)
Transponder had control of the Topgun last week from go to whoa. He will be looking to keep that cracking form going here.
