Sandown Greyhound Racing Club is deeply saddened by the sudden passing of Di O’Neill.
Di has been a very strong supporter of the club and an active trainer. Todd and Di along with the support of their three children have raced several greyhounds with the ‘Intention’ suffix. As recently as June 11 they trained a winning double at Sandown Park.
“It’s been a tough period for the club since we were made aware. We’ll be supporting the family in any way we can,” said Neil Brown, Sandown Park Chairman.
Our heartfelt sympathy is extended to Todd, Taylor, Maddy and Tom.
A celebration of Di’s life will be held at Sandown Park on Thursday 29th of June at 10.30am. The family asks everyone who’s attending to be dressed in colour to celebrate her life.
