On Thursday 2019 TAB Melbourne Cup winner Whiskey Riot celebrated his 4th birthday.
It’s been almost a year since the curtains were lowered on his career but retirement is treating him awfully well.
“He loves apple crumble, so that’s what he gets (on his birthday) and maybe a soft serve”, said his trainer and best mate Anthony Azzopardi.
Azzopardi gave the low down on what life currently looks like for Whiskey Riot, or ‘Red’, as he’s known to those close to him.
