Sandown trackside shop is open for business.
To be managed by Kellie and Michael Ferguson of Australian Greyhound Products, the shop will be open during every race meeting and trial session and stocks a range of supplements, veterinary products and kibble, as well as leads, muzzles and other racing equipment.
Michael and Kellie Ferguson are no strangers to the greyhound racing industry, as they currently own and train greyhounds out of their Drouin home.
Prior to taking over Australian Greyhound Products in January 2014, Kellie was involved in marketing and admin at various companies, however she has always had the drive and determination to one day own a business. Her husband Michael has owned and trained greyhounds for over 30 years.
The Sandown trackside shop will also be selling a range of Sandown merchandise including polo shirts, jackets and caps.
The Sandown trackside shop will be open during Wednesday and Saturday trial sessions, as well as Thursday and Sunday race meetings. The shop is located next to the kennel block.
