Kick off Australia Day celebrations a couple of days early with our famous $2 Day on Thursday 24 January.
We love the dogs at Sandown Park, but we also love a BBQ, a beer and a bargain, so we’ll be serving up:

There is plenty of free entertainment for the kids, a face painter and games room open all night, and the Oz Open men’s semi final will be on the big screen.
And there’ll be plenty of action on the track with the running of the $21,750 Listed Maidment Memorial (595m) and an outstanding support card.
A night at the dogs, sport on the big screen, a BBQ and few cold beers – what could be more Australian!
Entry to all race meetings at Sandown Park is free. Gates open at 6.00pm with the first race just after 7.00pm.
