Two of greyhound racing’s all time greatest sprinters will go head to head one last time tonight.
Fernando Bale and Dyna Double – the two highest prize money earners in the history of the sport with over $2.5m between them – are finalists for the 2015/16 Victorian Sprinter of the Year as well as Victorian Greyhound of the Year.
The pair met on the track on eight occasions, with Fernando Bale winning their first seven encounters before Dyna Double One finally bested his famous kennel mate when it mattered most, the final of the 2015 TAB Melbourne Cup. The race has gone down as one of the greatest ever run.
