The first Melbourne Cup Prelude Series will be run this Thursday night, officially kicking off the countdown to Australia’s richest and most prestigeous greyhound racing event, the $500,000 Melbourne Cup.
With black type racing over all distances, the fastest chasesr from across the country are set to descend upon Sandown Park over the coming weeks in search for a piece of the in excess of $1million in prize money up for grabs.

Dining packages are still available on all dates but the dining room is filling fast! Anyone interested in seeing the country’s greatest greyhounds from the comfort of the Tiers or Chairman’s Lounge is encouraged to book early to avoid disappointment.
