The Launching Pad is back in 2021!
The popular sweepstakes event – the only one of its kind in Australia – will see more than $420,000 in prize money won across three weeks. While the winner of the group 3 final will pocket $150,000, more than half of all runners will earn prizemoney making it one of the most lucrative racing series in the country.
Registered participants and clubs need to purchase a $2000 ‘Entry Form’ to guarantee a berth in the series which is open to greyhounds with between 1-6 wins and no more than 30 career starts. The Entry Form is fully transferrable up until midday on Monday 15 March 2021 – the day prior to the close of nominations.
Entry forms go on sale at midday on Monday 11 January 2021. Just 64 Entry Forms are available for the series.
The heats for the 2021 Launching Pad will be run on Thursday 18 March 2021, with the final to be run on Thursday 1 April 2021.
