Tickets for the 2020 edition of the $420,000 Launching Pad have sold out.
The last of the 64 available tickets were sold this morning, however there will still be opportunities for greyhounds to win their way into the three week series kicking off on Thursday 26 March.
The following clubs will be running qualification series, with the winner of each final picking up a ticket to Launching Pad.
Richmond
Heats: 6 March
Final: 13 March
Conditions: 1-3 wins, no more than 26 starts
Angle Park
Heats: 5 March
Final: 12 March
Conditions: 1-4 wins, no more than 28 starts
Sandown Park
Heats: 15 March
Final: 19 March
Conditions: 1-4 wins, no more than 28 starts
Launching Pad ticket holders also have the option to sell their ticket or negotiate for a greyhound to race on their ticket. Those looking to acquire a ticket should register their details on the Launching Pad page.
More than half of all greyhounds that contest the three week Launching Pad series will earn prize money, with the overall winner of the final collecting $150,000.
The heats of the series will be run on Thursday 26 March, semi finals on Thursday 2 April and the final – to be shown live on the Seven Network – to be run on Thursday 9 April.
