Pursell discusses tonight’s chances

Brendan Pursell has a three pronged attack leading into tonight’s meeting at Sandown Park.

He joined Gareth Hall on RSN Central’s Form Express this morning to discuss his chances.

Race 5 – 1. Mid Life Crisis
“She’s drawn well. She’s got good early speed but can a little bit suspect late. If she can get away from them early, she should run around 29.60 which should be good enough to win it.”

Race 7 – 7. Saint Destructor
“He’s first up over ‘600’ (595m), recently he’s been showing us that he wants to do it. You never know how they’ll run it out until you try – we’ll find out tonight.”

Race 11 – 3. Saetta
“She’s always there abouts, she’s no star. If she can get to the front with some trouble behind, she’s pinched a few races like that.”

His best? Mid Life Crisis – $2.90 into $2.60 with TAB.

This time next week TAB Melbourne Cup Prelude Series 3 will be upon us, with more greyhounds aiming to qualify for heats of the world’s greatest race – the TAB Melbourne Cup. For more information see TABMelbourneCup.com.au
