Britton rates tonight’s chances

One of Australia’s premier trainers Rob Britton joined Gareth Hall on RSN Central’s Form Express this morning to discuss his runners engaged at Sandown Park tonight.

I’m A Krakour (Race 1, Box 2)
“I hope he gets a clear run, if he does get it he’ll definitely be a chance. He’s very inexperienced but so far he’s done everything ok.”

Optimus Dusty (Race 4, Box 6)
“I expect him to go ok even though he’s not boxed well. He’s a dog that needs an early race and in his last few he’s been in races 11 and 12. That (earlier race) will help him, he won’t have already run his race in the kennels like the past couple of weeks.”

Blazing Cartier* (Race 6, Box 6)
“She ran a good race last week so on paper she should improve on that. She needs to keep in touch early as she can run it out strongly. I just hope she can get a clear run and get into the race, because if she does she’ll be a genuine chance.”

Blazing Carter is currently (12pm) a $5 chance with TAB

Also in the race, Blazing Hype (Box 8)
“I’m not certain about him, he hasn’t really set the world on fire since he’s been down here.”

Don’t forget September is ‘Money Back Month’ at Sandown Park, celebrity tipsters host the Punters Club and if they lose, your money back guaranteed! James Van de Maat heads the Punters Club tonight.
