Shootout field finalised

The Shootout field has been finalised.

Aston Dee Bee, Bewildering, Black Mumbo and Shadale will contest for the $25,000 winner-take-all prize with Western Australian Quick Jagger the sole reserve.

All four finalists have won feature races at Sandown Park in 2017 and have set fast times in the process.

The Shootout brings together the fastest greyhounds in the country and is set to be run for the 20th time.

“It’s a terrific field. It’s a great race year after year and this one will be no exception,” said Sandown Park CEO Greg Miller.

For the first time the Shootout will be run on New Year’s Day, Monday January 1. The box draw will be held during this Sunday’s race meeting.
