While the stars of the track chase $150,000 in prize money across 24 two dog match races, punters will be feasting on a smorgasbord of fixed odds offerings.
As well as each way betting on all six events and markets for all 24 match races, TAB is offering markets on the fastest first splits, inside boxes vs outside boxes, and time brackets for each event.
In all, more than 40 fixed odds markets will be open across the meeting making it one of the most extensive fixed odds offerings in the history of greyhound racing.
Most interest will be in the race 3, the Speed Star, which features some of the sport’s biggest names including group 1 winners Worm Burner, Mepunga Blazer and Black Mumbo, defending champion Bewlidering, and exciting youngsters Jimmy Newob and Zara’s Entity.
The first match will jump at 5.41pm with gaps of approximately eight minutes between matches. Dave Carlson and James van de Maat will be trackside to host a special feature presentation of the meeting on Sky Racing 2 which will be open and free to all Foxtel subscribers.
Punters are encouraged to join the party on course on Sunday with free entry, live music, drink specials and the chance to win a Ford Mustang. VIP dining packages are also available for just $25.
